ALREADY MENTIONED here before - OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD - because I know that this one reaches here where I am since last year. Looking forward to this year again. Even though the collection date for the "boxes" has gone by, they say "it's not too late".

Operation Christmas Child invites you to pack a shoe box with small toys, school supplies, other gifts, and a personal note to introduce a hurting child to God's love. The small gifts of love and messages of hope through Jesus Christ are delivered to needy children around the world.
And of course, SAMARITAN'S PURSE
http://www.samaritanspurse.org/ has many great ministries.

Angel Tree is a ministry of Prison Fellowship, delivering love in the form of Christmas gifts and a message of hope to children of prisoners. Angel Tree Christmas connects the parents in prison with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts by local church volunteers who purchase and deliver these gifts and the Gospel to children. Often times the local church will host a Christmas party for the children, their caretakers and family. Learn more now about getting your church involved with Angel Tree projects. To read more please click & go here.

THINK ABOUT THIS:
  • There are 1.5 million children of prisoners
  • 7.3 million children have a parent under some form of correctional supervision
  • 22% of children with a parent in prison are under 5 years old; The majority of children are under 10; The average age is 8
  • One in five children is present at their mother's arrest
  • Get your CHURCH community involved

Mission 4 Monday sadly ended last year as a meme, but I continue to share here and I know others also share various MISSIONS, especially the people above. Check them out!!! Encourage and perhaps join us.
Since my life is a MISSION, I share whenever I can. There are many of you, who do community involvement/church events, volunteer opportunities or know missionaries that you could share to motivate others. Motherhood and Homeschooling are MISSIONS and callings!!!
Each of these are MISSIONS and important to encourage others.
If you are doing something or share someone's MISSION on your blog, please leave your info in the comments anytime! Hopefully others will notice & come visit. THANKS!
