Let's PRAY & FAST together for...

Announcing the Fourth Annual

International Weekend of Prayer & Fasting

for the Victims of Sexual Trafficking
 September 25-27, 2009

"May my prayer be set before you like incense;
may the lifting of my hands be like the evening sacrifice."
 Psalm 141:2

The Salvation Army, the Initiative Against Sexual Trafficking, and the Faith Alliance Against Slavery and Trafficking invite you to join with them in observing the 4th Annual International Weekend of Prayer and Fasting for Victims of Sexual Trafficking.

You can join the observance by organizing workplace and church-based events for prayer and fasting on behalf of those sexually exploited and/or trafficked into the commercial sex industry.

To register your participation and obtain free prayer guides (in English or Spanish) register on-line at

Other resources that can be found on-line include promotional flyers (in English, Spanish, Russian, German, & Dutch), sample sermons, Bible studies, an intercessory prayer walk guide, a community prayer walk guide, and a church bulletin insert. A fasting fact sheet is also forthcoming.

We hope you will join with us in lifting petitions to God to free the captives, and to equip the Church to serve, prevent, rescue and restore.

A Note from David and Beth Grant

Dear Friends,

We are excited to report the wonderful things God has been doing on behalf of the ministry of Project Rescue to enslaved women and children. Because of your prayers, hundreds of women and children are finding hope and freedom in Jesus Christ!

There are now more than 85 children and teenagers living in the leased Project Rescue ministry site in Nagpur, India, just a few yards away from the edge of the red light district. Last year, Project Rescue leadership put a down payment on a site to build a new Home of Hope a safe distance from the red light district. However, it became increasingly apparent that a safe home out of reach of the district was needed as quickly as possible. Men visiting the brothels were constantly pressuring the teenage girls as they came and went from the home to school and back, placing them in constant jeopardy. Many of you have joined us in prayer over this particular need, and we have seen God provide!

[click here for the rest of the story!]

  • For a new location for the vocational training center in Kolkata and the permanent residential home in Nagpur

  • For direction, protection, and provision as new relationships are being built as a result of open doors in Delhi

  • For continued protection over the teenage girls at the new home in Nagpur

  • For freedom and healing for the women in the new Home of Hope Moldova

  • Open doors in Bangladesh and Rajasthan

Mark your calendars SEPTEMBER 25th-27th for PRAYER & FASTING for the Victims!

PROJECT RESCUE ministry is made possible by faithful prayers & generous support, which makes their work possible and has brought & will continue to bring HOPE to countless women & children.
