From my email today (2) URGENT prayer sure to watch this video. It'll break your heart!

Hear A Child's Cry For Hope

You call out
for your 18-month-old child who was laughing and playing in the back yard. Suddenly there is no response. She is gone.

You run to the spot where you last saw her, and you hear muffled cries from an old, abandoned well. You gasp as you realize that she is trapped far beyond your reach, stuck in a narrow pipe, struggling for air. And you know she will die unless she is freed.

Today, Satan has hundreds of millions of innocent boys and girls also trapped—mired in lives of desperation that will kill them just as surely as if they were stuck underground.

Hear A Child's Cry For Hope

I challenge you to watch this short video and see how God is working to save these children from their desperate fate—for now and for eternity.

Yours for His lost children,

K.P. Yohannan

OPEN DOOR IN DELHI - Please Pray with us!

Over the past several months we have sent you updates and prayer needs regarding the city of Delhi. Thank you for partnering with us in prayer over this city! We have seen God open doors that He alone has the power to open, and we are excited about what He is doing.

New ground is being broken for Project Rescue in Delhi. There is no formal Project Rescue work in this city yet. But God has birthed a growing commitment in the hearts of a number of national and AGWM colleagues to partner together to see this ministry established. We see His timing and direction towards this end. Relationships are being built with women in the red-light district, and workers have been meeting together to pray over the city and the red-light area.
A HOME OF HOPE IN DELHI IS ESSENTIAL. Women and children cannot be brought out of sexual exploitation until there is a safe place of skilled care and healing for them. LOCAL STAFF ARE NEEDED who are trained and understand the needs of survivors.

Please join us in prayer as we face critical moments and decisions in the process of seeing God’s work accomplished in Delhi!

  • For anointed and dedicated national believers for outreach in the red light areas in Delhi
  • For national believers to help establish a Hope of Hope in Delhi: house parents, staff, teachers and mentors
  • That God will go before those working in Delhi as they navigate the political, legal, social, spiritual and economic challenges in red-light areas
  • For protection, discernment and direction for all Project Rescue staff

We truly value and appreciate your prayers. They are moving mountains!

It's up to us to help STOP this!
The church needs to OPEN their eyes & hearts now!
This is important enough for me to put on both my BLOGS!

September 26th & 27th,
which is today & tomorrow
individuals, corporations, religious organizations, communities and student groups to come from all over to participate in the inaugural WALK to Stop Child Trafficking Now! This global event is slated to attract thousands of people who will walk throughout the world, while raising funds and broadening awareness for Stop Child Trafficking Now! If you are not familiar with SCT please visit their website and learn how you can help STOP this tragedy from continuing. If you take the time to view these videos, I know that your hearts will be touched like mine has to get involved.

These are the first two in a series of 5-6 videos! You will notice Ruchira Gupta's name below.

Here's an article from RICKY MARTIN FOUNDATION about a recent event that I'll bet not too many are aware took place just this past week (if you click on RMF you can read more about what they are involved in combating this as well):

"Ricky Martin Fights Human Trafficking at Clinton Summit"

New York, NY – When Ricky Martin took the stage at the Clinton Global Initiative on Thursday, he did not sing, or dance, or even flash his trademark grin. Following the same stage directions as dozens of other celebrities who dropped by Clinton's 5th annual global summit, from Brad Pitt to Bono to Jessica Alba, Martin struck a somber note while discussing the fight against human trafficking.

"I feel that my heart is going to come out of my mouth," he said, recounting his sadness for the "millions of children that didn't make it." Martin was followed by testimony from a woman who, along with her two children, was kidnapped and held for four years of forced labor. Then Luis CdeBaca, a former counsel to Rep. John Conyers who now serves as President Obama's chief diplomat for combating human trafficking, explained that between 12 and 27 million people are enslaved around the world today. In its official materials, The Clinton Global Initiative notes that the higher estimates mean there are more people enslaved "than at any other time in human history," though that's the kind of factoid that says more about population growth than the scope of the problem. But the numbers are daunting by any measure. And the policy experts who huddled on Thursday stressed that many obvious measures to combat trafficking are simply not being applied.

About 90 percent of countries do not have dedicated police units for investigating trafficking, according to Clinton's organization, and many governments simply look the other way. Only one out of three governments around the world provide basics like emergency phone lines for children and families who do not know where to turn when faced with a kidnapping.

While just about everyone is against slavery, on Thursday several panelists advocated a "different kind of capitalism" to punish companies that support forced labor at any point in their supply chain. Some American companies have agreed to boycott suppliers that use forced labor, as the International Labor Rights Forum's Tim Newman has documented, but not all. (He credits Wal-Mart, Target, Levi's, Gap, and H&M for boycotting Uzbek cotton produced through forced labor, for example, while Fruit of the Loom did not.)

President Clinton personally highlighted the fight against human trafficking by giving a "2009 Global Citizen Award" to Ruchira Gupta, who made the Emmy-award winning 1997 documentary Selling of Innocents. She went on to create an organization that combats sex trafficking with education and preventive programs in India.

This weekend was also:

4th Annual International Weekend of Prayer and Fasting for the Victims of Sex Trafficking - September 25-27, 2009

Since 2006, The Salvation Army and the Initiative Against Sexual Trafficking (IAST) has sponsored an International Weekend of Prayer and Fasting for the Victims of Sex Trafficking. In 2009, the Faith Alliance Against Slavery and Trafficking (FAAST) joined as co-sponsor of this annual event.

The Salvation Army, IAST and FAAST sponsor this event first because we ardently believe that success in the battle against trafficking comes "not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit" (Zechariah 4:6). We understand that in this battle we wrestle "against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" (Ephesians 6:12).

For more resources and information on this weekend visit the Salvation Army USA Prayer and Fasting Weekend page. SALVATION ARMY's COMBATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING

God is the most effective weapon against the slave trade.

Let’s unleash the most powerful fighter, defender of the oppressed, champion of good and enemy of evil. Let’s join together to pray to God daily for the abolition of modern-day slavery.

God is the most effective weapon against the slave trade. This statement may raise the argument that God allows this evil to continue, but it is not a valid argument. As C.S. Lewis wrote in Mere Christianity, “If you do not take the distinction between good and bad very seriously, then it is easy to say that anything you find in this world is a part of God. But, of course, if you think some things really bad, and God really good, then you cannot talk like that. You must believe that God is separate from the world and that some of the things we see in it are contrary to His will.” Sex trafficking is against His will. He established moral absolutes, good and evil, and sex trafficking is definitely evil.

Without my faith in God and His control, I would not want to come to work on some days because the fight would appear hopeless. But I know He is in control, that His hand guides anti-trafficking efforts, and that one day He will deliver justice for all of the victims. But until that day comes, I encourage you to join me in prayer.

Pray for the victims. Pray that they will have a hedge of protection around them. Pray that they will have one less client to service that hour or day. Pray that they will be spared a beating or a rape. Pray that they feel God’s love and presence and that they feel hope. Pray that their rescue is imminent. Pray that they will be freed and their lives will be restored, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Pray for President, the band of senators and representatives, and for non-governmental organizations working to abolish slavery.Pray that they will continue to fight the good fight. Pray that they will have the resources to continue the fight. Pray that they will be successful in their efforts and in getting their message out to every person in every nation. Pray that they will influence governments to do what is right and to punish traffickers and johns.

Pray for the State Department’s Trafficking in Persons’ office. Pray that the staff will be encouraged to continue their hard work compiling information about trafficking problems and efforts to eradicate it in nations around the globe. Pray that their efforts to hold these nations accountable will bear fruit.

Pray for those who use slaves, be it sexual or labor. Pray that they will be caught and convicted of their crime. Pray that they will acknowledge their sin and repent. Pray that they will turn their desires from evil and toward good. That instead of benefiting from the enslavement of another human being, they would rescue and restore the enslaved.

Pray for the pimps and the traffickers. Pray that they will be convicted of their crimes, punished and held accountable. Pray that they will be convicted in their heart and soul of their sin, and repent. Pray that they would use their knowledge of the trafficking trade to expose it and destroy it. Pray that they would use their ill-gotten gain to make restitution to the people they enslaved.

This tribute of a sister in the song "The ART of BEING KIND" (for Laurie Neira) was so difficult to find to post but was available if you go to and it makes it available for you to hear on Real Audio (but I was not sure everyone has this available).

The following link had a code for myspace so I tried it here but in case it doesn't load or work, please go here or the above link for this beautiful song, which I believe will bless you deeply.

Kristina Olsen - The Art Of Being Kind (for Laurie)
Found at The Art Of Being Kind (for Laurie) on

KRISTINA OLSEN is a nurse/ singer-songwriter who shares music as a prayer for healing in our world. Having lost her sister Laurie Neira on September 11th aboard American Airlines Flight 11, Kristina has committed herself to promoting peace through understanding, compassion and loving-kindness, as a way to best honor her sister's memory.

Having recently returned from Afghanistan as part of an 18 member Interfaith Peace Delegation, through the San Francisco based humanitarian organization Global Exchange, Kristina shares her experiences of Afghanistan, through song and the spoken word, highlighting the healing connections she has made with Afghan families who have lost loved-ones as a result of the U.S. bombing campaign.

Kristina is a member of September Eleventh
Families for Peaceful Tomorrows, an advocacy organization founded by families who lost loved-ones at the World Trade Center, The Pentagon and United Flight 93. It's mission is to seek effective non-violent responses to terrorism and to identify a commonality with all people similarly affected by violence throughtout the world."

Kristina may be contacted at for appearances, interviews or to obtain a copy of her "Home to Love" CD.

After viewing so many wonderful videos for 9/11 and songs, I saw this video with Shelby Shares that lead me to search for "who is Laura Neira?" And I discovered the heart of this beautiful sister, Kristina Olsen... and was moved by this SONG! I only wish I could hear the entire CD here in MX.

Kristina's voice is like an angel. Yes Kristina...your words "Understanding is the key...One world, one seed, a little love from time to time...Understanding is the seed"

The words of Kristin that spoke to my heart after the above words were:

O LORD, Plant this seed in each of us. Kindness & love to others, those in need all over Your world. Move us to touch others with the act of being kind. Forgive us LORD, for not being Jesus & shining Your Light and sharing Your love. May words like this song inspire us as Your WORD goes deep & then bursts forth in fruit and grows. May we better understand ALL You desire for us & others. May we show kindness today in Jesus precious Name...(if we can't BE Jesus, we shouldn't preach it.)

This is why & how joining

Amy @ Signs, Miracles and Wonders for

gives me new songs & the joy of sharing with others music

"I led them with cords of human kindness, with ties of love; I lifted the yoke from their neck and bent down to feed them." Hosea 11:4

"For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.

For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."

[The verses are given in English for what it says in Spanish on these WFWs]

ISAIAH 41:10

  • So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
  • I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

ISAIAH 43:1b-3a

  • But now, this is what the LORD says-- he who created you,
  • O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel:

  • "Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
  • 2.
  • When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
  • 3.
  • For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I give Egypt for your ransom, Cush and Seba in your stead.

On Tuesday and since September began, there has been much talk, reviews and give-aways of

by Max Lucado

With Denise, Shelby review & give away, Sherry review, Laced with Grace both, SUM, Marsha, and many more... )sorry, if I did not mention you :( For me, the best is being lived out by a dear sister in the LORD, Melanie & her son, Andrew, and she has at least 2 blog posts (*)(**)if not more that give testimony of FEARLESS ~ so why not visit her, leave a prayer & encouragement; but I promise you that you'll leave more encouraged from Bella Mella!!!

God's WORD is also filled with much wisdom from God
telling us and Bible characters
And clearly Max Lucado uses lessons in scripture & practical applications
to show us how to
[I only was able to read the first Chapter via a free pdf]

Each sunrise seems to bring fresh reasons for fear.

They're talking layoffs at work, slowdowns in the economy, flare-ups in the Middle East, turnovers at headquarters, downturns in the housing market, upswings in global warming. The plague of our day, terrorism, begins with the word terror. Fear, it seems, has taken up a hundred-year lease on the building next door and set up shop. Oversized and rude, fear herds us into a prison and slams the doors. Wouldn't it be great to walk out?

Imagine your life, wholly untouched by angst. What if faith, not fear, was your default reaction to threats? If you could hover a fear magnet over your heart and extract every last shaving of dread, insecurity, and doubt, what would remain? Envision a day, just one day, when you could trust more and fear less.

Can you imagine your life without fear?

Max Lucado even has Fearless Town Hall to declare war on FEAR!
You can click here and see 2 Vimeos.

You may wonder, "Why would anyone post SCRIPTURES on FEAR for WFW in a blog entiltled MISSIONS? How does MISSIONS and FEAR go together or relate?"

Briefly, I will just say that in order for you to walk out of your comfort zone and stretch your faith to share with others, you must be equipped to stand strong when fear arises. Don't let your FEARS keep you from sharing Jesus or even better from BEING JESUS to those who need a touch of the Master's hand & love shown from a heart that knows HIM, HIS WORD, His attributes, His Grace, and the value & worth HE sees in each of us. God does not want us to live in fear. Trust Him and you will fear less. My life & ventures here in Mexico have taught me about the REAL Jesus & fear.

Recently, I came across this new group blogging project from June 2009 based on a new book to me (at least) Servolution: Starting a Church Revolution Through Serving by Dino Rizzo.

Though I do not have a copy and I'm sure Mexico's Librerias (bookstores) or Bibliotecas (libraries) will not have it, and I still have little faith or trust in the postal delivery system here, plus it costs so much to mail or "ship" through package delivery or whatever service, I have decided that I will STILL read through what this great group of bloggers have shared over at

SERVOLUTION has their own blog as well (click on their name) sharing God's love and changing lives through simple acts of kindness with Healing Place Church of Pastor Dino Rizzo, book author

Here is there opening statement on this Blogger Book Project:

"There is a revolution happening in the church today, and it is one of serving! Whether you are a seasoned servant already, or just want to find more ways to live the Christian lifestyle, then I encourage you to stick around…"

I totally think, even without having read the intro of this book, that this definitely fits in with MISSION. As I have mentioned many times, your purpose or mission call, does not mean that "you MUST GO to a foreign country" to SERVE! That is the purpose of the church, which does not mean the pastors or the building, but each and every individual in the church and even those outside of the church, MUST live a PURPOSE DRIVEN LIFE. (Hopefully, those outside of the church, will see enough change and want to belong & participate through a church & fellowship with others to GROW in their life journey through SERVING as one body!)

Their website goes on to share various individual's insights on each part of this book, chapter by chapter. Their united hope when they initiated this as a discussion group as you read the book along with them, was that as you read & listened to diverse perspectives on each chapter, YOU
would "walk away with lots of passion and ideas that will change your walk with Christ!" which was the reason, I, too...designed & set up MISSION 4 MONDAY, now MISSIONS.

This is included below here, but I prefer that you go to their site and use this as a reference point to "taste and see" how invaluable this book & project may be for YOU, your church, your small group.

The chapter schedule along with who shared on each chapter is as follows:

  1. The Beginning of a Servolution: Forty-Five Tons of Tea (6/19) – Jim Blake (Concerned Christians Canada)
  2. Strategic Servolution: Rat Bait and Cheetah-Print Nightgowns (6/20) – Monica Brand (Paper Bridges)
  3. The Culture of Serving: An Unexpected Opportunity (6/21) – Mike Kress
  4. Servolution Is All about Jesus: Four Walls and a Slave (6/22) – Christina Meyer (What’s With Christina?)
  5. Hurricane Katrina: The Day the Levees Broke (6/23) – Bryant Neal (Camak Baptist Church)
  6. Servolution Top Ten: A Lesson from Ben and Jerry’s (6/24) – Bonnie Irving (Bonnie’s Random Thoughts)
  7. The Fabric of a Servolution: A Towel and a Basin (6/25) – Victoria Jenkins (Let the Son Shine)
  8. Unlocking the Need: There’s a Great Treasure Inside (6/26) – John Lambert (In The Kingdom)
  9. Staying on Course: A Speech, a Spotlight, and a Season (6/27) – Paul Batchie (On Following Christ)
  10. The Cost of a Servolution: More Than Money (6/28) – Mike Levitt (Michael Levitt’s Blog)
  11. No Excuses: 165,000 Easter Eggs (6/29) – John Dix (Grace Church of Glendora)
  12. Servolution Street: The Neighborhood Where Jesus Lives (6/30) – Gabriel Morton (Christ in 3D)
  13. Keep Your Serve Alive: Avoiding Compassion Fatigue (7/1) – Karen Shumway
  14. Never Serve Alone: Where’s My High Five? (7/2) – Chris Neufeld (Twisted Christian)
If you would like to buy the book, you can check it out here at a SUPER SAVER price.

Here is the description of the book from them:

There is a movement that is rumbling throughout the Body of Christ -- a revolutionary army of people ready to take up the mandate to pursue the lost, the forgotten, and the poor to show them a God who is passionately in love with them. Servolution is a revolution of serving others. The troops are followers of Christ, the companies of soldiers are churches, and the weapons are towels for service. Through the story of what God is doing at Healing Place Church, Servolution will inspire you to serve, and it will give you tons of practical ideas and strategies to get you started. Change your world - start a revolution through serving.

In Servolution, Dino Rizzo shares the story of his relentless pursuit of ways to bless the lost, poor, and hurting people of his community in Jesus' name. You'll be amazed and inspired by the incredible ways God has used Healing Place Church to meet the needs of thousands of people. Each chapter includes practical suggestions and resources for use in any church.
Be encouraged by the testimony of how God's Spirit can use a simple passion to serve to revolutionize your approach to ministry. Wherever you are and whatever your gifts, you can play a vital role in this revolution through serving.

I hope to have much to share as I read through this but without actually having the book, I may have to wait until I make a USA trip & can acquire it. If anyone has read this book, please share your insights here. I truly believe that we each need to SERVE wherever God has placed us! Some of us need to extend ourselves beyond serving in our home & involve even our families with projects that SERVE!

John 13:12-17 (New International Version)

12 When he had finished washing their feet, He put on His clothes and returned to His place. "Do you understand what I have done for you?" He asked them. 13 "You call me 'Teacher' and 'Lord,' and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 I tell you the truth, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
