Urgent Prayer Request from Project Rescue in INDIA

PROJECT RESCUE email...

Dear Friends,

As the summer progresses, we are excited to see the incredible things that God is doing throughout India, as well as in Nepal and in our brand new home in Moldova.

We would like to ask you to pray with us about an urgent issue we are facing. Project Rescue personnel have been in contact with a mother of an 11 year old girl in one of the brothels where our staff and other local leaders have been taking prayer walks. This mother is willing for her young daughter to be brought to a safe home for girls, however she is hesitant to do so for fear of the repercussions she herself may face when she returns to the brothel.

Please pray for favor in this situation and ask that God will move on the hearts of those involved so that they will act favorably on behalf of this young girl. Also, please pray that the Lord will keep this girl safe in the mean time and that through this process doors will be open for other girls and women to find safety and healing through Christ.

Thank you so much for joining us in prayer. We believe that God is going to do the miraculous in order to make his name known in India!

With sincere gratitude,
David and Beth Grant

Indigenous People in Mexico

Sharing this from Mexico AG. org Prayer Focus

In Mexico today there remain fifty-six ethnic groups, with more than 298 subgroups and dialects. The name of some may sound familiar to you, such as the Zapotecs, the Mayans, and the Tarahumaras. Yet there are others you may never have heard of and perhaps can’t even pronounce, such as the Ixcatecos, the Matlazincas, and the Cuicatecos.

The good news is that the Gospel has been taken to a number of them – some churches and preaching points have been established, with limited materials available in various languages. There remains, however, a two-fold challenge: first, to aid those churches and their pastors, as their need for co-laborers is great, and second, to reach the remaining groups with the Truth.

At last year’s Concilio Nacional, the Mexico Assemblies of God motioned for each district to appoint a promoter of ethnic groups as part of their vision for the indigenous harvest. Some districts have already done this.

We, as the Mexico Missionary Fellowship, have the privilege to partner with the national church in this through prayer and awareness. Gabriel Borbolla, director CAMAD, the Missionary Training Center in Oaxaca, says, “Without information, there is no passion”.

In order for us to pray with knowledge and passion, information about these unique groups will be posted to this site on a regular basis.

Let’s begin today by praying for:

God to birth a passion in each of us for one of these groups

All laborers involved in ministry to the ethnic groups of Mexico

The districts and their appointed promoters

More laborers sent into this specific harvest

Necessary resources

One of the reasons, I am blessed to be in Mazatlan, serving and feeling called there since 1995...is because though the name means "land of the deer" in Nahuatl, it is actually a city of many mixed backgrounds from all over Mexico that come & have settled there or some just pass through & return, to "sell their wares". It is an enclave of many indigenous as well as Spanish, Mexican blends that make up the beauty of this paradise under the sun. Though most think that this is a tourist resort that I enjoy, let me assure you that I hardly ever indulge myself in these luxuries but live as a member of the community, which is definitely a growing one & has all of the spiritual needs of any highly populated area of inner city multiplied by being in a third world country, living by meager means. I am so blessed to call them my brothers & sisters & my community to reach for Jesus! Please join in praying for Mexico.

PRAY for MEXICO

From OPERATION WORLD the ultimate prayer guide to every nation on earth

http://operationworld.24-7prayer.com/country.php?country_id=33

Mexico"the world’s largest Spanish speaking nation"

Diseases carried by the Spanish in the 16th century destroyed the early Aztec Empire. Its colonial past makes Mexico’s culture distinctive; part Amerindian and part Spanish. A total of 298 languages are spoken in Mexico.
Corruption and an uneven distribution of wealth in Mexico have created a wide gap between the rich and the poor. The country’s economy has improved since it made trade agreements with the United Stated and Canada, but widespread poverty remains. A third of the population live hand to mouth under the poverty line.
For 130 years Mexico officially separated itself from the Catholic Church – but since 1992 restrictions for the Catholic Church has been lifted and there is greater freedom for religious minorities.

Youth Facts
Over half the population is less than 20 years of age.

Answers to Prayer
The peaceful change of government in the year 2000 has given hope to many that things can change for the better in Mexico.

Challenges for Prayer
18 million people live in poverty in Mexico City - one of the biggest and most polluted cities in the world. 7 million live in filthy housing as squatters. As many as 600,000 children sleep on the streets each night. Few Christians are working among the cities poorest and most needy people.
Pray that churches can develop effective ways of reaching out Mexico’s 3.8 million students.
The national media likes to portray evangelical Christians as being anti-Mexican. Pray that on a ‘one to one’ level Christians can share with people about God and break down these prejudices.
Pray that the new government can bring hope and strong leadership and tackle the nation’s poverty gap.

W.I.N. to WIN SOULS

WINDOW INTERNATIONAL NETWORK
(WIN)

Prayer moves the hand of God. Once there is sustained, strategic, and informed prayer in the 10/40 Window, we will witness massive numbers of unreached people coming to Christ.
Pray that it will happen in our generation.
- Beverly Pegues

Do you know what the 10/40 Window is? I'm surprised but there are many who do not know.

The 10/40 Window is located from 10 degrees to 40 degrees north of the equator, which includes Africa, the Middle East and Central Asia.

  • Nearly 4 billion people live here, including 90 percent of the world's poorest of the poor. It is estimated that 1.6 billion of these people have never had the chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ - not even once!
  • The seat of every major non-Christian religion - Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Animism, Atheism, and Sikhism - is headquartered in the 10/40 Window.
  • In many of the 67 countries represented in the 10/40 Window, witnessing the Christian Gospel means death. Truly, the 10/40 Window remains the darkest and most inhospitable territory to the cause of Christ and represents the greatest remaining stronghold of Satan.
  • Two-thirds of the world’s population (4 billion) live in the 67 nations of the 10/40 Window.
  • 95% of the people are unevangelized.
  • for much more READ from the following LINK!

To see a list of the nations included in the 10/40 Window, weekly prayer points for each and basic facts please go here:

From Afghanistan to Yemen, WIN covers each country. Let's focus on praying for these nations.

TO LEARN WHO "WIN" IS, THEIR ACCOMPLISHMENTS, PUBLICATIONS & MOST IMPORTANTLY, WHAT STILL NEEDS TO BE DONE please click on this link.

Won't you help us to go into all the world (10/40 Window) and preach the good news to all creation and make disciples?

Let's WIN MORE SOULS for the KINGDOM of GOD!!!

Mission 4 Monday sadly ended last year as a meme, but I continue to share here and I know others also share various MISSIONS, especially the people above. Check them out!!! Encourage and perhaps join us.
Since my life is a MISSION, I share whenever I can. There are many of you, who do community involvement/church events, volunteer opportunities or know missionaries that you could share to motivate others. Motherhood and Homeschooling are MISSIONS and callings!!!
Each of these are MISSIONS and important to encourage others.
If you are doing something or share someone's MISSION on your blog, please leave your info in the comments anytime! Hopefully others will notice & come visit. THANKS!
