31 DAYS of ... "Te Necesito Ya"

DAY 2

TE NECESITO YA

Te necesito = I need You

ya = now or already

Te necesito ya, Bendito Salvador,
Me infunde dulce paz

Tu tierna voz de amor

Coro: (Chorus)
Te necesito Cristo, si Te necesito,
Con corazón contrito acudo a Ti.
Te necesito ya,
Tú no me dejarás;
Yo siempre venceré
si Tú conmigo estás,
Coro
Te necesito Cristo, si Te necesito,
Con corazón contrito acudo a Ti.
Te necesito ya, Bendito Salvador,
Te necesito ya, jamás me dejarás;
Te necesito ya, Bendito Salvador,
Me infunde dulce paz

Tu tierna voz de amor
***************************************
Other verses (not in this YouTube)

Te necesito ya, Tu santa voluntad,
Y Tus promesas mil en mí cumple en verdad.

Te necesito ya, santísimo Señor:
Tuyo hazme, nada más, bendito Salvador.

Now listen carefully and fill in the blanks. Simple short words with only one letter changed can make a difference. Then you redo it yourself taking out more words and you fill them in as you learn them until you know every one.

el Vocabulario
VOCABULARY
for this song

Bendito Salvador = Blessed Savior

dulce paz = sweet peace

voz de amor = voice of love (noun)

corazón contrito = contrite __________This first word was in Day 1's Vocabulary. In Spanish, the adjectives quite often come after the noun that they are describing.

conmigo = with me

There are two verbs used in the future tense (will):

me dejarás = You will leave me
venceré = I will overcome

Then this one in the present (and there are others):

necesito = I need

Let's do a quick lesson on the present tense of 'to need' =
necesitar = to need (a regular -ar ending verb)

necesito    I need
necesitas   you need (for a 'you' that is familiar to you)
necesita    she needs, he needs, it needs or you (formal) need (so you need the subject before this 3rd person)

necesitamos  we need
necesitáis      you all need(archaic but used in literature like the Bible)
necesitan       they need

If you are keenly observant, you saw that the ending changed for each person. So the subject* is at the end.
And the root of the verb (underlined) stays the same (when it's a regular verb). So any verb (infinitive) that ends in -ar for the Present tense would be these 6 endings: -o, -as, -a; (singular) -amos, -áis, -an (plural)

*subject - the one doing the action, usually we begin learning with Subject Pronouns:
I, you, he, she, it; we, you, they

In Spanish, there is no 'it' because everything is given a gender, either male or female. But they do have 2 YOUs**

So Spanish Pronouns respectively are:
singular: yo, tú, usted, él ella; and
plural: nosotros/nosotras, (male and female 'we') vosotros/ vosotras (male and female 'you all') and
ellos, ellas (male and female 'they')[pronounced eh-yohs, eh-yahs] and ustedes [oo-steh-dthes]

** 2 YOUs: there is a familiar and a formal. The clearest clarification is if you know the person, then use familiar. If you want to maintain a formal relationship use formal, as with people older than you, to show respect.

I think I'd better stay away from Lessons.

Mission 4 Monday sadly ended last year as a meme, but I continue to share here and I know others also share various MISSIONS, especially the people above. Check them out!!! Encourage and perhaps join us.
Since my life is a MISSION, I share whenever I can. There are many of you, who do community involvement/church events, volunteer opportunities or know missionaries that you could share to motivate others. Motherhood and Homeschooling are MISSIONS and callings!!!
Each of these are MISSIONS and important to encourage others.
If you are doing something or share someone's MISSION on your blog, please leave your info in the comments anytime! Hopefully others will notice & come visit. THANKS!
