PRAY

Photo: Prayer does make a difference- a life-changing, mind-blowing, earth-rattling difference. We don’t need to know how. We don’t need to know when. We just need to kneel confidently and know the tremors of a simple Jesus girl’s prayers extend far wide and far high and far deep.

Look at how our prayers the past couple of days are changing the world. I got this text message from Christine Caine last night - amazing!

"LIKE" this post to say you're standing with us today.
Give God the Glory and Praise!

Pray for Victims

Day 1:
Lord, today as I pray for the A21 Campaign, the word I’m focusing on is “Protection.” God, please protect those who have been taken and are currently enslaved. Please help them. Show them a safe way of escape. Help A21 workers or trustworthy government officials find them. And then, as they escape, blind the eyes of those who would want to impede the rescue. In God’s Powerful Name we pray, Amen.

Day 2: For their protection, freedom, and justice:
Psalm 82:4, Psalm 103:6, Psalm 146:7

Day 3: For their strength and salvation:
Psalm 138:7, Isaiah 40:29, Luke 19:10

Day 4: For their hope and healing:
Psalm 40:1-3, Jeremiah 30:17, Jeremiah 31:17

Day 5: Lord, today as I pray for the A21 Campaign, I’m once again focusing on “Protection.” Jesus, protect these young girls, women, boys and young men being trafficked today. Please put conviction in the hearts of those holding these dear ones hostage. Send a searing pain into the hardened hearts of these captors so that they may open their eyes and see the wrong they are doing. Bring alive their conscience and give them the courage to set free their captives. And help those being held hostage find safety in one of the A21 transition homes or another place of restoration. Protect them spiritually, physically, and emotionally as they learn to be empowered to live in freedom. In God’s Powerful Name we pray, Amen.

Day 2:

LORD, We lift the victims to You for Protection, for Freedom and for Justice!

"Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked."

We pray this for each captive, each victim, even for each one rescued. We ask this even for those in harm's way of becoming a sex trafficked victim. You are their only Defender. You are their Advocate! We seek Your justice over the wicked. We ask for an end to trafficking and an end to the corruption that permits this. We ask for wisdom and support to rescue the victims, break the bondage of poverty and the spirit of poverty over these people that sell their children or women out of desperateness.
Step in and move on Your people to provide enough to have many more rescues like the recent ones we've heard of in Ukraine and others. Praise You! Thank You for each one!

Your Word also says in Psalm 103:6:
"The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed."

Amen. Let it be ... we pray,
for we know Lord, that You work righteousness and bring justice for all the oppressed as we cry out to You, seek You and knock asking this in the name of Jesus.

[Here is a prayer from Heart Light praying Psalm 103] that I pray for these precious victims and those in danger of becoming victim

Holy and righteous God, I know You are even more repulsed than we are by the inhumanity that stains our world and crushes precious and innocent peoples.

Please, Father, show Your will and discipline those nations who are ruthless in their injustice. Convict us, Your people, that we as individuals and as congregations must be places of reconciliation, justice, healing, and hope. Use me, along with my brothers and sisters in our congregation to show Your righteousness and Your justice toward those in our community who need freedom from oppression and who need someone to help stand up for justice in every area of life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

We believe this for these victims:

Who executes justice for the oppressed,
Who gives food to the hungry.
The Lord gives freedom to the prisoners.

LORD, Give them Freedom!

8
The Lord opens the eyes of the blind;
The Lord raises those who are bowed down;
The Lord loves the righteous.

LORD, Open eyes in every way to be aware and see these victims that need rescue. Raise up those who are bowed down. We know You love as we do righteousness and justice for these precious ones.

9
The Lord watches over the strangers;
He relieves the fatherless and widow;
But the way of the wicked He turns upside down.

Yes, Father, Watch over them. Be vigilant over them and set a guard of angels around them to hold back the forces of evil. We plead that You be Father to the fatherless and widowed but many of these feel abandoned just like these and so we ask You to be their Father and provide divine protection to victims and rescue workers as well.
Thank You for hearing us and directing us to reach them.

Day 4

Lord, we come to You this morning to lift up the victims of human trafficking and are praying for their hope and healing in Your Powerful Name. We're specifically praying Psalm 40:1-3, Jeremiah 30:17, Jeremiah 31:17 over these victims. Please restore all that has been taken from them and give them comfort only You can provide. In Jesus' Name, Amen

Day 5

Lord, today as I pray for the A21 Campaign, I’m once again focusing on “Protection.” Jesus, protect these young girls, women, boys and young men being trafficked today. Please put conviction in the hearts of those holding these dear ones hostage. Send a searing pain into the hardened hearts of these captors so that they may open their eyes and see the wrong they are doing. PRAY FOR TRAFFICKERS

Day 6: For conviction, repentance, and salvation: Isaiah 55:7, Romans 5:6-8, Timothy 2:25

Day 7: Lord, as I pray for the A21 Campaign, the word I’m focusing on today is “Prosecution.”

Help the leaders of A21 and other organizations who are working to prosecute the traffickers and strengthen the legal response to human trafficking. Please provide the right legal counsel for every victim so their voices can be heard and justice can be served. In Your Powerful Name we pray, Amen.

Day 8: For criminal networks to dismantle: Psalm 7:9, Psalm 37:17, Psalm 37:20

Day 9: For the oppressors to be arrested and prosecuted: Isaiah 16:4, Jeremiah 22:3, Amos 5:15a

Day 10: Lord, as I pray for the A21 Campaign, I’m once again focusing on “Prosecution.”

Help the A21 Campaign send a strong message with every arrest and prosecution of the sex traffickers, that
this is not okay. This horrible injustice will not go unnoticed and it will not go unpunished. Give them
wisdom to know how to and trustworthy officials and legal representation to send a strong warning to
all those participating in the criminal acts of sex trafficking. In Your Powerful Name we pray, Amen.
