Continuing to join P31 Ministries with Lysa TerKeurst and A21 Campaign with Christine Caine in Day 15 of their "31 Days of Prayer" - however it's a different day with the Nester's 31 Day Writing Challenge. (I've lost track).

The 31 Day PRAYER CAMPAIGN began with Lysa and Christine on Sept. 23rd back here to join them in prayer. This is their button and here is Lysa's blog, pdf on the prayer plan and you can find prayers interspersed on her Facebook to continue praying along with them to ENDING TRAFFICKING.

We started with Prayers for the Victims, then the Traffickers, Governments and today is Day 15 as we start praying against the ROOT CAUSES: poverty, greed, prejudice

Days 15-18 Pray for against these Root Causes
[so this post is for these 4 days]

Day 15: Against poverty: Proverbs 14:21, Isaiah 58:7, Isaiah 61:1

"Dear Lord, today we're praying against poverty, one of the root causes of human trafficking. We're specifically praying Proverbs 14:21, Isaiah 58:7, and Isaiah 61:1 right now:

- Proverbs 14:21, "It is a sin to despise one’s neighbor, but blessed is the one who is kind to the needy."

- Isaiah 58:7, "Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter— when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?"

- Isaiah 61:1, "The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,"

Father, we place our hope in You. Thank You for moving so greatly through our prayers. In Your Powerful Name we pray, Amen."

Day 16: Against greed: Joel 3:3-6, Luke 12:15, 1 Timothy 6:10a

Day 17: Against prejudice: Genesis 1:27, Psalm 45:9, Galatians 3:28

Day 18:
Lord, Jesus, as I pray for the A21 Campaign today, my heart breaks at the reality that every 30 seconds another human becomes a victim of human trafficking. This is a massive, horrible reality. I am but one person but Lord, You promise my prayers are powerful and effective.

Forgive us Lord, for the innumerous acts from these root causes that have allowed this atrocity to take captive so many women and children and men. Bring a repentance to the hearts of all involved and to those of us, who can do something but don't because we believe we are helpless against such forces of evil. Yet we are not as Your Word declares. Help us to take a stand and make a difference.
So, I stand today together with others and ask that power and effectiveness be unleashed in the war against sex trafficking today. Help the A21 Campaign and the others fighting against this atrocity to see results like they’ve never seen in the history of their ministry today as my prayers, our prayers, do serious battle on behalf of those in desperate need. In God’s Powerful Name we pray, Amen
