"GREATER GOOD" for Guatemala or Mexico or ?

It has been far too long since I have shared on this blog and so much good (and not so good) "mission" work has been taking place here and other places that I really should have updated often.

The following caught my attention today and reminded me of my own "Project Hope"(that I shared and have a page for on my main blog of "aMazing Grace...") but I am compelled to add this here so you can read as well and hopefully visit
"GreaterGood" to read more ... but it reminded me of my own project and my progress (although it is slow, it is solo still, but ongoing and just for one person, whereas this seems to be for many in need ... so please read and pray how you might help, even by praying or passing this info on"clicking" as I do at their site.

Provide 800 Cement Blocks for Safe Homes in Guatemala
"Guatemala is one of the poorest countries in the Americas, with more than 50% of the population living on less than $2 a day. The poverty is so severe that families are often unable to provide the minimum daily caloric intake of food for their children.
Many of the health and education problems these families face stem from the lack of adequate housing. A typical Guatemalan house consists of cornstalk walls, a scrap metal roof and a dirt floor, providing little protection from the elements and requiring frequent maintenance.
Constru Casa builds safe, cement block houses for families throughout Guatemala, coordinating with local social work organizations to select families of exceptional need. Beneficiary families participate in the construction of their homes and pay back 33% of their total cost, which is designated to fund future projects. Once a family is secured in their new home, they are able to focus on improving their lives in other ways, such as saving money, sending their children to school, and improving their health.
You can help! Your clicks help a Guatemalan family build a safe and sturdy home and focus on keeping their family happy and healthy.
See footage from one of Constru Casa’s amazing home builds in the video below!"

*if you click over to Greater Good, why not take a few extra moments to click on each one of their worthy causes listed across the top of the page for each of these ... {I have buttons way down on the right (sidebar) for most of these --- need to add the others}

Slow and steady I am still setting aside for my own Project H.O.P.E. since Lent ... hoping to give one person a place to live ... more to come soon, I pray

Each of these are MISSIONS and important to encourage others.
